Privacy Policy

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us on a call or in a form.

Health information. The intake and medical screening questionnaire collect information about your medical history, current medications, and mental health history. This is sensitive personal information and is treated as such.

Information collected automatically. Pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, and how you arrived at the site.

Why we collect it

Health information is collected for one purpose: to establish whether this work is safe for you, and to run it safely if it goes ahead. It is never used for marketing and never sold.

Contact information is used to arrange and run your programme, and to reply to you. If you join the retreat waitlist, your email is used to tell you when a retreat is being arranged.

Consent

We collect health information with your express consent, given at intake. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though doing so may mean we cannot proceed.

Who sees it

Health information is seen by the people working directly on your programme. That is Jamie Norrish, and the registered clinical counsellor where she is involved in your preparation or integration.

It is not shared with anyone else, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm.

Service providers

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion. Where we have to keep something, we will tell you why.

Applicable law

This policy is written to meet the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, in British Columbia, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
