Our Program

Return to your Essence

Every part of this is intentional and shaped around you specifically.

The medicine is not the method.

Why5 surrounds each ceremony with coaching, clinical counselling, and nervous system support, so that what comes up has real support before and after it, not only during. Preparation, facilitation, and integration are all held to the same standard, backed by a network of specialists across Canada, so you are cared for at every stage of the process.

"The session itself was unlike anything I've ever experienced, pure presence, pure love."

Who this is for

Is this right for you?

5-MeO-DMT accelerates personal growth in a way few other tools can, creating change that lasts well beyond the ceremony itself. It is an investment in who you become, not just for now, but permanently.

People often come to this work wanting to:

Break old patterns and habits

Rebuild a sense of purpose

Release resentment and anger

Reconnect with a sense of joy and aliveness

Break through creative or professional blocks

Release deep seated trauma

Break the grip of chronic anxiety

Move through grief

Follow their curiosity about what this medicine can offer

Deepen their connection to their own spirituality

Week by week

The ceremony is one day.
The process is weeks in the making.

The ceremony is one day. The process is weeks in the making.

Discovery

The first call

Thirty minutes, free of charge, with no obligation on either side. We work out whether this is the right medicine for you, and whether this is the right time in your life to take it.

Weeks 1 to 2

Preparation

How well you prepare determines how ready you are once the ceremony begins. This covers mental, emotional, and physical preparation, carried out through calls with Jamie and a clinical counsellor, guided instructions for a clean diet, and a fast on the day of the ceremony.

One Day

Ceremony

The right set and setting matter as much as the medicine itself, which is why each ceremony can take place at our dedicated space, in your own home, or in another setting entirely, whichever creates the safest and most supportive environment for you.

Weeks 3 to 6

Integration

Integration is the most important part of this work, and it takes place over four weeks. During this time, we provide the support needed to build on what you recognized in the ceremony and carry it into how you live. By the end of the program, these changes are locked in.

Who is in the room

You can do this alone, or with people you trust

The medicine and the program are the same in each. What changes is the company.

One on one

The full six week program belongs to you alone. Preparation, the ceremony, and integration are each worked through with direct, individual guidance. This is the complete structure of the program, held entirely for one person.

Group sessions

Sessions can include two to six people. Preparation and integration can be shared together or held on your own, and the ceremony itself can be experienced as a group or individually. Working alongside people you love and trust brings real support to this process, and the same support carries into integration where you keep each other accountable.

Retreats

Retreats are held at different times of the year, each one a full immersion away from your everyday life. Stepping outside your usual environment for that time helps you identify what you want to change in your life.

Health and wellness retreat hosts can add the medicine to their program directly. It is treated with the same care as any other ceremony, and the best next step is a conversation about what it would look like for your retreat.

Where

The west coast does some of the work for you

Ceremonies are held on Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island, where ocean, mountains, and forest surround the entire experience, and quiet settles in almost immediately. Being here, away from your everyday environment, is part of what makes this work possible.

If traveling to this area is not practical, we come to you. The ceremony is set up entirely around your space and your needs.

Safety

Nothing about this is improvised

Every ceremony follows the same protocol, worked out in advance and held to the same standard every time. The people who support this work are trained for exactly this, and they are with you throughout.

The most direct investment you can make in yourself

This is where you choose yourself, fully and directly. Like any investment worth making, the value compounds over time, showing up in how you work, how you love, and how you carry yourself for decades to come. This is a decision made once, with returns that last a lifetime.

Seven sessions

Three to get you ready and four to help you keep what you find.

Full Support

Direct contact with Jamie from the first call to the last session, and a counsellor alongside him.

$2,000

One payment, covering the ceremony and all seven sessions around it.
